Method of Preparation for : Indian Mutton Curry

Ingredients:

  • 2 Onions
  • 1 Tomato (Chopped)
  • 1 Cup Desi coated Coconut (Grated)
  • 2 Bayleaf
  • 2 Cinnamon
  • 8 Black Pepper
  • 1 Cloves
  • 3 Green Cardamom
  • 1 tbsp Shahi Jeera
  • 15 Garlic Cloves (Chopped)
  • 1-inch Ginger
  • 3 Green Chillies
  • 6-7 Strands of Coriander Leaves
  • 7-8 Mint Leaves
  • 1/2 Kg Mutton (Medium Sized)
  • 2 Potatoes (Medium Sized)
  • 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 tbsp Turmeric Powder
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tbsp BHARAT MEAT MASALA
  • Salt to taste

Preparation:

Make a paste of chopped ginger, garlic, chillies, mint leaves, coriander leaves.

Marinate mutton with the above paste & keep aside for 10-15 mins. Heat little oil in a pan.

Cut 1 onion and saute them in oil.

Once the onion changes colour, add grated coconut and saute till light brown.

Remove from ?ame and grind them to make a paste.

Take a Vessel and heat oil in it.

Add Shahi Jeera, Cloves, Cinnamon, Bayleaf.

Then add chopped onion. Saute for3-4 mins.

Now add the ginger garlic chilli & mint paste with tomato and saute for2 mins.

Putcoriander powder, chilli powder, turmeric powder & BHARAT MEAT MASALA. Saute for 2 mins.

Add potatoes and stir for a while.

Now it’s time to add marinated mutton and onion- coconut paste.

Add water and salt as perrequirement.

Now pressure cook unit 5 whistles.

Remove the curry from cooker and garnish withcoriander leaves.

Now your Indian Mutton Curly is ready to be served with bread or rice with somesalad.
